Víctor Belmonte Albert – trombone

Victor was born in Valencia, Spain. He began his musical studies in the “Centre Artistic Musical” in Betera (Valencia) at the age of 8 and began playing trombone when he was 9 years old with Victor Gamez Zaragoza as his first teacher. Later, he studied in the “Conservatorio Municipal de Musica de Valencia” with Carlos Gil Ferrer and in the “Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon” with Ximo Vicedo and Dani Perpinyan.

Victor finshed his degree in the Rotterdam’s Conservatory (The Netherlands) with Pierre Volders, Jorgen van Rijen and George Wiegel as main teachers. He also had lessons from Remko de Jager, Ben van Dijk and Bart van Lier in the same conservatory. He studied as Erasmus program student in the “CSMD de Lyon” with Michel Becquet and Alain Manfrin. He also studied in the UDK Berlin with Stefan Schulz.

Victor has participated in different masterclass and courses from teachers as: Indalecio Bonet, Christian Lindberg, Gilles Millier, Joseph Alessi, Rex Martin, etc.

He was memeber of the Spanish and the Dutch National youth Orchestras (JONDE and NJO) as well as the “World Youth Orchestra of Jeneusses Musicals” (WJOM).

Victor was winner of the “Remington Competition” in 2005 in New Orleands with the trombone class from Rotterdam and finalist of the “Robert Masteller” competition in 2007 in Las Vegas.

Victor has colavorated  with different proffesionals orchestras and ensembles as the Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest, Concertgebouw Orkest, Het Brabants Orkest, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Spanish Radio Symphony Orchestra (OSRTVEE), Volharding, Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana, Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, de Filharmonie Antwerpen, etc.

Victor is member of the “International Trombone Ensemble” and “Neos Brass” .

From  2008 to 2013, Victor was first trombone of the Radio Kamer Filharmonie in The Netherland. Since 2014 he plays 2nd trombone in the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest.
